Jersey Shore Fishing: Looking like fishing weather

After a stretch of cold and windy weather, it looks as if there will finally be some fishable conditions this week. The Ocean Explorer from Belmar will try to get out for cod, and I suspect there will be a revival of the winter flounder bite at that marina with sunshine on the warmer outgoing tide. Grumpy's Tackle in Seaside Park reported lots of worm sales early in the day. They've had word of small stripers and white perch being caught in the bay.
